Fear as we all know, can hold us back in doing the things that we desire. This is the reason why some of us don’t achieve something in life. As John Maxwell said, “[it] paralyzes and immobilizes us.” For example, when we are about to present in front of the class and our fear will unable us to perform well. This will result disappointment or any other bad feelings in you.

There are times when some people don’t let themselves be exposed or be involved in activities that will help them to diminish fear in their selves. They will not gain much experience in things that results to them being ignorant to their surroundings which will add up more to the fear they already have. “Inexperience breeds ignorance, which result in even more fear.”-John Maxwell

In order for us not to gain fear, we should learn how to do things on our own or we should learn how to deal with our fears properly and by not just letting it be. We should learn to face our fears in order for us to move  forward from who we are when we didn’t faced it.

We should not also fear things that we know might hurt us if it did not happen the way we expected things to be. This will help us to be emotionally strong and will help us to be ready when we will be hurt badly by someone or something. We will learn how facing our problems can help us to be more efficient and more enthusiastic when we are about to do unusual or new activities.

To sum it all up, I can say that we should learn how to face our fears and be more courageous when it comes to doing things. As John Maxwell said, “we deprive fear of nourishment and strengthen the impulse of courage inside of us.” We should know that fear is a great hindrance for us to achieve what we want or desire.
